Biosketch

Dr. Pascal Gervaz is a Swiss surgeon who did his residency in General Surgery at in Lausanne (1989-1998), before completing two fellowships in Digestive and Colorectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida and Mayo Clinic Rochester (1999-2001).


From 2002 to 2011, Dr. Gervaz was the chief of the Colorectal Clinic at Geneva University Hospital (HUG). Dr. Gervaz holds academic appointment as Privat-Docent at Geneva University Medical School. He has published 134 papers, and has been invited to give 180 scientific lectures on 4 continents.


Dr. Gervaz has performed >2,000 major procedures in his +30 years career and is recognized by his peers as a world-renowned surgeon (click here to see the article); he performs most abdominal operations, including weight loss surgery, hernias repair, colorectal procedures cancer, as well as proctology. 


Dr. Gervaz holds credentials to operate in Geneva and Vaud Counties, and is accredited in most private Clinics in Geneva, Genolier and Lausanne. He sees his patients at his office located at 76A, Avenue de la Roseraie in Geneva.
